Looped Jumbles

Ingredients

110 gr butter
100 gr sugar
1 egg
30 ml milk
250 gr flour
5 gr baking powder
1 gr cinnamon
1 gr salt
60 gr unsweetened chocolate
28 gr butter
400 gr confectioners sugar
4 gr vanilla

Instructions

Boiling water COOKIE: Cream butter and sugar together. add egg and milk, beat until light. Stir flour, baking powder, cinnamon and salt. BY HAND, blend into creamed mixture. Choill 2 hours. Using rounded teaspoon for each cookie, roll on floured surface to from a 15 cm rope. Place on ungreased sheet. from a loop with ends overlapping. Bake 8-10 minutes. remove from sheet, cool on rack. Frost with chocolate glaze CHOCOLATE GLAZE: Melt unsweetened chocolate and butter over low heat, stir constantly. remove from heat, stir in sifted confectioner's sugar and vanilla. blend in enough boiling water until it is of a pouring consistancy. Pour over cookies on wire rack. Makes approximately 36. ----
