Maple Rice Crisp Cookies

Ingredients

220 gr all purpose flour
3 gr baking soda
3 gr salt
3 gr cinnamon
60 ml milk
1 egg
3 gr maple flavoring
95 gr shortening
200 gr sugar
300 gr presweetened rice crisp
65 gr nuts

Instructions

-cereal Recipe by: Mary M McBride's Encyclopedia of Cooking Preheat oven to 350 degrees; grease cookie sheets. Combine and sift flour, baking soda, salt and cinnamon. Combine milk, egg and flavoring. Cream shortening and sugar until light and fluffy. Add dry ingredients and liquids alternately, one-half at a time. Stir only until dry ingredients are moistened. Fold in 1 cup cereal and chopped nuts. Toll rounded teaspoonfuls of dough in additional rice cereal. Place on prepared pans and bake for about 15 minutes. Remove from pans; cool. ----
