Meat And Potato Stew

Ingredients

650 gr round steak
190 gr tomato paste
8 potatoes
60 ml olive oil
1 gr oregano
1 salt

Instructions

Heat olive oil in 6 litre pot; add beef, salt, pepper, and oregano. Brown well. Add tomato paste, wine, and water until meat is almost covered. Mix liquids well until gravy thickens slightly. Simmer 45 minutes. Add potatoes and simmer until fork tender, stirring occasionally about 15-20 minutes. Serve hot with fresh Italian bread.
