Methodist Cookies

Ingredients

325 gr karo syrup
200 gr sugar
350 gr peanut butter
5 special k cereal
120 gr chocolate chips
160 gr butterscotch chips

Instructions

Recipe by: Betty Herrick Heat to near boiling point, but DO NOT BOIL: 1 cup Karo syrup and 1 cup sugar. Add and blend: 1- half cups peanut butter. Then add 5 cups Special K Cereal. Put this mixture in 9X13 buttered pan. Then melt together and put on top of the above cereal mixture: 6 ounces chocolate chips, 6 ounces butterscotch chips. When topping is set, cut in small squares. ----
