Mexican Cheese Cookies

Ingredients

100 gr sugar
75 gr margarine
120 gr monterey jack cheese
130 gr all purpose flour
5 gr baking powder
1 gr salt
1 egg

Instructions

Heat oven to 375 degrees. 1-Mix sugar and softened margarine; stir in cheese. Stir in remaining ingredients except egg. 2-Roll dough by teaspoonsful into sticks, about 3.5 by 1 cm. Place on lightly greased cookie sheet. Press sticks lightly to flatten. Brush with beaten egg. 3-Bake until light brown around edges only, 8-10 minutes. Immediately remove from sheet and cool on wire racks. These
