Microwave Maple Bacon Pancake

Ingredients

1 1/2 bisquick baking mix
170 gr cheddar cheese
180 ml milk
85 gr maple-flavored syrup
14 gr sugar
2 eggs
12 slices bacon

Instructions

Grease and flour microwaveable pie plate, 10x 4 cm. Beat baking mix, half cup of the cheese, the milk, syrup, sugar and eggs with wire whisk or hand beater until only small lumps remain; pour into pie plate. Place pie plate on inverted microwaveable dinner plate in microwave oven. Microwave uncovered on high (100%), rotating pie plate quarter turn every 2 minutes, until most of top no longer appears doughy, 5.5 to 7.5 minutes. Sprinkle with remaining cheese and the bacon. Microwave uncovered on inverted plate just until cheese is melted,1 to 1.5 minutes longer. Serve with maple flavored syrup if desired. Makes 8 servings. ----
