Minty Fudge Brownies

Ingredients

160 gr flour
2 gr baking soda
1 gr salt
200 gr sugar
110 gr butter
240 gr mint chocolate chips
7 gr vanilla extract
3 eggs
140 gr nuts
1 walnut

Instructions

* Chips should be 1 bag (10 oz) of Mint-Chocolate Chips from Nestles. ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Preheat oven to 160ºC . In a small bowl, combine flour, baking soda, and salt; set aside. In medium saucepan, combine sugar, butter and water; bring JUST TO A BOIL. Remove from heat. Add mint-chocolate chips and vanilla extract; stir until chips are melted and mixture is smooth. Transfer to a large bowl. Add eggs, 1 at a time, beating well after each addition. Gradually blend in flour mixture. Stir in nuts. Spread into a greased 13 X 9 X 5 cm baking pan. Bake at 160ºC for 30 to 35 minutes. Cool completely on wire rack, cut into 4 cm squares. Garnish with walnut halves, if desired.
