Mom's Beef Stew

Ingredients

60 ml oil
45 ml wine vinegar
700 gr beef stew meat
240 ml wine
1 onion
1 bay leaf
1 clove garlic
1 gr oregano
120 ml tomato sauce
4 potatoes-cubed
2 slices carrots

Instructions

Salt And Pepper To Taste Saute onion and garlic in oil. Add every thing except potatoes and carrots to large pot. Cover tightly and simmer 1.5 hours until meat is thoroughly tender. Half an hour before meat is ready add carrots and potatoes.
