More Power To Ya Meatballs

Ingredients

900 gr beef
1 onion
20 ritz crackers
1 gr black pepper
1 gr garlic salt
2 ml dry mustard
2 eggs
350 ml bottled barbecue sauce
200 gr tomato paste
1 liquid smoke
80 ml catsup
75 gr brown sugar
120 ml water

Instructions

In a large bowl combine the ground beef, onion, crushed crackers, pepper, garlic salt, dry mustard and eggs. Squish the mixture together by hand until well mixed and form into walnut sized balls. Place them on a flat wire rack in a roasting pan or a large cake pan. Bake the meatballs in a 180ÂșC oven for 15 minutes, turn and bake for 15 minutes more. In a saucepan combine the remaining ingredients. Cook over medium low heat for 30 minutes. Add the meatballs and simmer for several hours. This may also be done in a crockpot.
