Mrs. Criswell's Ginger Cookies

Ingredients

950 ml molasses
450 gr brown sugar
1 lard
475 ml milk
40 gr baking soda
30 gr ginger

Instructions

Flour; to make stiff dough Let stand over night. Roll thin, glaze top of each cookie with 1 whole egg beaten light. Bake in hot oven. Makes half bushel. Note: Hot oven is 400 230ÂșC .
