No-fail Chocolate Chippers

Ingredients

300 gr old-fashioned rolled oats
220 gr all purpose flour
5 gr baking soda
1 gr salt
110 gr butter
220 gr golden brown sugar
100 gr sugar
2 eggs
4 gr vanilla extract
120 gr walnuts
325 gr milk chocolate chips

Instructions

Recipe by: Bon Appetit July 1995 Preheat oven to 190ÂșC . Finely grind oats in processor. Add flour, baking soda and salt; blend 5 seconds. Beat butter and both sugars in large bowl until well blended. Beat in eggs and vanilla. Mix in dry ingredients. Mix in walnuts and chocolate chips. For each cookie, form 2 rounded tablespoons dough into ball and place on UNGREASED baking sheet; flatten slightly. Bake until edges are golden brown, about dozen minutes. Cool on sheets 5 minutes. Transfer to racks; cool completely. ----
