Oatmeal Blueberry Muffins

Ingredients

160 gr rolled oats
80 ml salad oil
1 egg
240 ml buttermilk
110 gr brown sugar
1 1/2 blueberries
130 gr unbleached flour
2 ml soda
3 gr cinnamon
5 gr baking powder
1 gr salt
1 gr allspice
1 gr nutmeg

Instructions

Soak oats in milk until moisture is absorbed. Add salad oil, egg, brown sugar and blueberries and mix thoroughly.

Mix together flour, soda, cinnamon, cloves, baking powder, salt, allspice and nutmeg and add to oat mixture. Mix thoroughly.

Fill greased muffin cups two third full. Bake in a 400 degree oven for 20 to 25 minutes until golden brown. Serve hot.
