Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookies # 2

Ingredients

190 gr shortening
200 gr granulated sugar
220 gr firmly packed brown sugar
2 eggs
4 gr vanilla
250 gr all purpose flour
5 gr baking soda
3 gr cinnamon
1 gr salt
300 gr quick-cooking oats
1 package semisweet chocolate morsels
6 ozs
140 gr pecans

Instructions

Preheat oven to 375. Grease a large baking sheet. Cream shortening and sugars together in mixing bowl until light and fluffy. Add eggs and vanilla; beat well. Sift flour, soda, cinnamon, and salt together; blend into creamed mixture. Stir in oats, chocolate morsels and pecans. Drop dough by level tablespoonfuls two inches apart onto prepared baking sheet. Bake for 10 to dozen minutes or until golden brown. Cool on wire racks. ----
