Oatmeal Cookies No. 2

Ingredients

110 gr brown sugar
100 gr sugar
95 gr shortening
1 egg
4 gr vanilla extract
16 ml milk
130 gr flour
2 gr baking soda
2 gr baking powder
1 gr salt
160 gr rolled oats

Instructions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease cookie sheets.

Beat the sugars, shortening, egg, vanilla extract and milk until smooth. Sift together the flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt. Add all at once to the egg mixture. Beat until smooth. Add the oats, mix well.

Drop from a teaspoon 5 cm apart onto the cookie sheets. Bake for dozen minutes, or until light brown.
