Oatmeal Crisps

Ingredients

80 ml milk
5 ml lemon juice
325 gr brown sugar
140 gr vegetable shortening
1 gr salt
7 gr vanilla
475 gr old fashioned oats
190 gr all purpose flour
3 gr baking soda
1 balls
3 on prepared cookie sheet
1/8 thickness

Instructions

Bake 8-10 minutes until set and lightly browned. Cool on cookie sheet(s) on wire rack 45-60 seconds, just until firm enough to handle, then remove to wire rack to cool completely. For a fancy cookie, drizzle with melted chocolate!! Nutrition info per cookie: 80 cal; 1g pro; 12g carb; 3g fat; 0mg chol; 41mg sod. Exchanges: 0.75 starch/bread, two third fat.
