Peanut Butter Cookies/martha White

Ingredients

110 gr butter
120 ml creamy peanut butter
100 gr granulated sugar
110 gr firmly packed brown sugar
1 egg
2 gr vanilla
160 gr all purpose flour
3 gr baking soda
1 gr salt

Instructions

Recipe by: Martha White Southern Sampler Preheat oven to 375. Cream butter, peanut butter, and sugars together in mixing bowl until light and fluffy. Add egg and vanilla; beat well. Sift flour, soda, and salt together; blend into creamed mixture. Shape dough into 3 cm balls. Arrange 5 cm apart on ungreased baking sheet. Press balls of dough with floured fork to flatten and make a criss-cross design. Bake for 10 to dozen minutes or until golden brown. Cool on wire racks. ----
