Peanut Butter Picnic Cake

Ingredients

110 gr margarine
270 gr sugar
55 gr peanut butter
2 eggs
4 gr vanilla
250 gr flour
5 gr baking powder
3 gr salt
240 ml milk
375 gr strawberry jam

Instructions

---------------------------PEANUT BUTTER FROSTING-------------------------- quarter c Margarine quarter c Peanut butter 1 ts Vanilla 2.5 c Powdered sugar 3 tb Milk until light and fluffy. Blend in peanut butter, eggs and vanilla. Add combined dry ingredients alternately with milk, mixing well after each addition. Pour into two greased and flour 8 or 23 cm layer pans. Bake at 180ÂșC 35 to 40 minutes or until wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool 10 minutes; remove from pans. Spread two third cup preserves between layers. Frost with Peanut Butter Frosting. Decoratge with additional preserves. Frosting: Cream margarine. Blend in peanut butter, vanilla and salt. Add sugar alternately with milk, beating until light and fluffy.
