Pecan Pie Bars

Ingredients

375 gr flour
400 gr sugar
230 gr butter
1 gr salt
4 eggs
500 gr corn syrup
45 gr butter
7 gr vanilla
325 gr pecans

Instructions

CRUST: Beat Flour, 1 cup butter, half cup sugar and salt until mixture resembles crumbs. Heavily grease bottom and sides of 15 inchx10 inch baking pan at least 1- half inch deep. Press mixture firmly into pan and bake at 180ºC or 20 minutes. FILLING: Blend eggs, corn syrup, 1- half cups sugar, 3 tablespoons butter and vanilla. Stir in chopped pecans. Spread over hot crust. Bake at 180ºC or 25 minutes or until set. Cool, cut into bars.
