Pice Bach

Ingredients

240 gr flour
5 gr baking powder
1 mixed spice
110 gr margarine
4 lard
140 gr caster sugar
55 gr currants
2 eggs

Instructions

Milk SIft the flour, baking powder, and mixed spice; rub in the margerine and lard; add the sugar, currants and beaten egg. Mix in Milk to make a stiff dough and roll out 1 cm thick. Cut into 5 cm rounds and bake on a hot griddle until golden brown, after about 4 minutes on each side. British Cookery (BTA/BFPC)
