Picnic Chocolate Applesauce Cake

Ingredients

95 gr shortening
300 gr sugar
2 eggs
475 ml applesauce
250 gr flour
16 gr cocoa
10 ml soda
1 gr salt
1 gr cinnamon
38 gr sugar
80 gr chocolate chips
65 gr nuts

Instructions

Recipe by: LELAND (CGVH43B) Cream shortening and sugar. Add eggs and beat well. Add applesauce. Sift dry ingredients and add to creamed mixture. Pour into a greased 9 x 33 cm baking pan. Sprinkle with sugar, chocolate chips and nuts. Bake 180ºC or 40 min. ----
