28 gr butter 28 gr brown sugar 1 egg 120 ml molasses 190 gr sifted flour 1 gr salt 5 gr baking powder 120 ml boiling water
Instructions
Cream butter and sugar together until fluffy. Add beaten egg and molasses. Sift flour, soda, salt and baking powder together and add alternately with boiling waer in small amounts. Mix thoroughly. Turn into greased mold and steam 1.5 to 2 hours.
