Sherried Chicken Livers

Ingredients

3 slices bacon
1/2 slices wide
250 gr chicken livers
1 onion
40 gr mushrooms
1 clove garlic
1 gr basil
1 gr oregano
1/4 savory
190 gr tomato paste
180 ml dry sherry
180 ml chicken stock
14 gr butter
16 ml olive oil
20 gr parsley

Instructions

and serve hot over rice, polenta or pasta. (Editorial note: After trying all three, I very much prefer rice with this dish.) Serves 4.
