Shoo-fly Pie
Ingredients
250 gr dark corn syrup
60 ml molasses
5 gr baking soda
1 egg
240 ml water boiling
130 gr all purpose flour
24 gr vegetable shortening
150 gr brown sugar
18 pie shell
1 whipped cream
1 unbaked
1 bottom in size mixing bowl
240 gr crumb mixture
Instructions
Bake in 400-degree oven for 25 minutes or until crust is lightly browned and filling is puffy. Remove from oven, let cool to room temperature before cutting. Top with whipped cream.
