Shoofly Pie

Ingredients

3/4 dark mnolasses
180 ml poiling water
1 gr salt
190 gr all purpose flour
55 gr butter
110 gr firmly packed brown sugar
1 standard pastry

Instructions

Make sure the 23 cm pie crust is unbaked. Mix the first four ingredients. With hands, mix next three ingredients. Pour about one third mollasses mixture into pie pan lined with pastry rolled 0 cm thick. Sprinkle with one third of flour mixture. Continue alternating layers until all ingredients are used, ending with layer of flour. Bake in preheated moderate oven (375 deg. F.) for 35 minutes. Serve warm or cold. ----
