Snickerdoodles

Ingredients

230 gr shortening
300 gr sugar
2 eggs
350 gr all purpose flour
10 ml cream of tartar
5 gr baking soda
1 gr salt
26 gr sugar
5 gr cinnamon

Instructions

Heat oven to 400 (med hot). Mix shortening, 1.5 cups sugar, and eggs throughly. Blend flour, cream of tartar, soda and salt; stir in. Shape dough in 3 cm balls. Roll in mixture of 2 tablespoons sugar and cinnamon. Place 5 cm apart on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 8 to 10 minutes. These cookies puff up at first, then flatten out..
