Ingredients

400 gr sugar
230 gr butter
2 eggs
60 ml milk
4 gr vanilla
475 gr all purpose flour
2 gr baking soda
2 ml cream of tartar
140 gr nuts

Instructions

In mixing bowl cream sugar and butter till light. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each. Blend in milk and vanilla. Stir together flour, baking soda, cream of tartar, and half teaspoon salt; stir into creamed mixture. Blend in chopped nuts. Form dough into 3 cm balls. Place balls 5 cm apart on greased cookie sheet. Lightly flatten balls with sugared bottom of tumbler. Bake at 375 till done, 10 to dozen minutes. ----
