Sooz's Not So Alarming Chili

Ingredients

8 3/4 onions
120 ml olive oil
2,400 gr chili meat
8 3/4 cans stewed tomatoes
4 3/8 cans green chili peppers undrained
1,900 ml tomato sauce
500 ml ketchup
65 gr chili powder
3 gr pepper
8 3/4 cans kidney beans

Instructions

Saute the onions in olive oil. Add chili meat. Cook til lightly browned, stirring occasionally. Drain fat.

Stir in tomatoes, green chilies, tomato sauce, ketchup, chili powder, salt and pepper to meat mixture. Simmer, uncovered, for 30 minutes. Partially drain kidney beans and add to chili. Simmer 15 minutes longer.

Serve with cornbread.
