Souped Up Pot Roast

Ingredients

3 1/2 pot roast
1 package lipton soup mix
525 ml water

Instructions

In Dutch oven, brown roast over medium heat. Add soup mix blended with water. Simmer covered, turning occasionally, 2.5 hours or until tender. Thicken gravy.  MICROWAVE: In 3 litre casserole, blend soup mix with 1.25 cup water. Microwave at HIGH 5 minutes. Add roast; microwave uncovered 10 minutes, turning once. Microwave covered at DEFROST, turning occasionally, 50 minutes, or until tender. Let stand 10 minutes.
