Spaghetti Sauce

Ingredients

60 gr onion
30 ml olive oil
450 gr beef
2 garlic
600 gr tomatoes
450 ml tomato sauce
32 gr mushrooms
7 gr parsley
3 gr oregano
3 gr salt
1 gr thyme
1 bay leaf
240 ml water

Instructions

In large skillet, cook onion in hot oil until almost tender. Add meat and garlic; brown lightly. Add remaining ingredients. Simmer uncovered 2 to 2.5 hours or till sauce is thick; stir occasionally. Remove bay leaf. Serve over hot spaghetti. Garnish with Parmesan cheese, if desired. NOTE: One pound of spaghetti will serve 4 to 6 as a main dish with sauce.
