Spells And Bells

Ingredients

1 package dry yeast
60 ml warm water
2 eggs
240 ml whipping cream
4 gr vanilla
65 gr sugar
450 gr flour
14 gr baking powder
8 gr salt

Instructions

In mixing bowl, dissolve yeast in warm water. Beat eggs, cream, vanilla and sug ar together until mixture is light and fluffy. Stir in yeast. Blend dry ingredi ents; mix in until dough is soft and can be handled easily for rolling. Divide in half. Roll out both halves 1 cm thick on floured board. Cut with Christmas c ooky cutters (star, bell, tree, etc.) Fry in deep fat heated to 375 until brown . Drain on absorbent paper. Serve plain, sugared or glazed.
