Spice Cake And Butter Cream Frosting

Ingredients

400 gr sugar
350 gr butter
4 eggs
375 gr all purpose flour
5 gr baking powder
5 gr baking soda
3 gr cinnamon
2 gr nutmeg
240 ml buttermilk
95 gr shortening
4 gr vanilla extract
800 gr confectioners sugar
45 ml milk

Instructions

For the cake, in a mixing bowl, cream sugar and butter. Add eggs; beat well. Combine dry ingredients; add to creamed mixture alternately with buttermilk. Mix well. Pour into a greased and floured 13x9x2 inch baking pan. Bake at 180ÂșC or 35-40 minutes or until the cake tests done. Cool.

For frosting, cream shortening and butter in a mixing bowl. Add vanilla. Gradually beat in sugar. Add milk; beat until light and fluffy. Frost cake.
