Spinach With Moong Dal

Ingredients

2 moong dal
60 gr spinach
3 slices green chiles
6 gr tamarind paste
3 gr turmeric
16 ml corn oil
10 ml mustard seeds
4 gr fenugreek seeds
2 ml asafetida rinse dal thoroughly in a strainer under running water
1,200 ml water

Instructions

Heat oil in a small saucepan or skillet. When hot, lower the heat and add mustard seeds, fenugreek and dry chiles. Cook, stirring, until mustard seeds crackle. Stir in asafetida.
