Suet Or Carrot Pudding

Ingredients

375 gr carrot
140 gr suet
240 ml molasses
1 egg
5 gr baking soda
1 dissolved in
60 ml water
9 gr brown sugar
1 gr salt
1/2 lemon
2 gr allspice
3 gr cinnamon
2 gr nutmeg
85 gr raisins
55 gr currants
65 gr citron
65 gr flour

Instructions

Mix all the ingredients together, adding the dissolved baking soda last. Put into a buttered mold and steam for 3 hours. (May need to use extra flour to thicken the batter).
