Susan Rostov's Boiled Dinner
Ingredients
2,300 gr corned beef
1 garlic clove
10 black peppercorns
2 bay leaves
8 carrots
8 potatoes
8 onions
1 cabbage in
22 gr butter melted
1 egg
75 gr brown sugar
50 gr granulated sugar
1 gr salt
1 gr pepper
60 ml prepared mustard
90 ml cider vinegar
Instructions
Mix all ingredients. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring. Reduce heat, simmer 3 minutes. Serve hot with corned beef. Also good with ham. Makes 0.75 cup.
