Sweet Pinto Pie

Ingredients

1 pie crust
2 onions
475 gr am pinto beans
120 ml water
16 gr cinnamon
2 gr nutmeg
1 gr sea salt
30 ml honey

Instructions

Saute the onions in the oil over medium heat until very soft and clear. Watch carefully so they do not brown. Blend the cooked onions, beans, water, and seasonings until smooth. If more sweetness is desired, add the honey and blend. Spread in the baked pie crust, and bake 15 to 20 minutes at 180ÂșC .
