Tamale Pie

Ingredients

900 gr beef
220 gr tomatoes
1 clove garlic
1 gr salt
1 gr pepper
1 gr oregano
120 gr mild cheese
60 gr cornmeal
65 gr unbleached flour
5 gr baking powder
1 gr salt
10 ml oil
8 gr sugar
120 ml milk
1 other green chilies

Instructions

Brown meat in skillet. Add remainging ingredients and simmer 20 minutes. Pour into a 4 litre casserole. Top with cheese. Mix rest of ingredients together and pour over the top of meat and cheese. Bake at 190ºC . for 30 minutes (or until topping is done).
