Tex-mex Biscuits

Ingredients

190 gr all purpose flour
1/2 enriched hominy grits
18 gr baking powder
1 gr salt
110 gr margarine
65 gr monterey jack cheese
1/2 dairy sour
60 ml milk

Instructions

Heat oven to 220ÂșC . Lightly grease cookie sheet. Combine dry ingredients; cut in margarine until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Stir in cheese. Combine sour half and half and milk; add to dry ingredients, mixing just until moistened. Shape dough to form a ball; knead gently on lightly floured surface 10 to dozen times. Roll dough to 2 cm thickness. Cut with floured 5 cm biscuit cutter. Place 3 cm apart on prepared cookie sheet. Bake 10 to dozen minutes or until golden brown.
