Texarkana Style Chili

Ingredients

16 ml corn oil
2 round
120 gr onion
8 gr garlic
24 gr flour
26 gr chile powder
2 gr cumin
6 gr salt
500 gr kidney beans
700 ml water boiling

Instructions

HEAT CORN OIL IN A LARGE SKILLET, OVER A MODERATE FLAME ADD BEEF, ONIONS, AND GARLIC SAUTE FOR 10 MINUTES, DRAIN WELL COMBINE FLOUR, CHILE POWDER, SALT, AND CUMIN IN A SAUCEPAN, OVER A MEDIUM FLAME GRADUALLY WHISK IN HOT WATER-MIX WELL STIR INTO BEEF MIXTURE-MIX WELL POUR INTO A CASSAROLE DISH BAKE, COVERED, @ 180ºC OR 60 MINUTES STIR IN BEANS-MIX WELL BAKE, UNCOVERED, @ 180ºC OR 30 MINUTES SERVE HOT
