The Devil's Chili

Ingredients

some salt and pepper
120 gr onions
1 garlic clove
1 shallot bulb
3 scallions
1 bell pepper
26 gr olive
1,900 ml water
450 gr kidney
1 bay leaf
1 miso paste
3 gr mild
1 gr basil
3 tomatoes
280 gr tomatoes
425 ml tomato sauce

Instructions

In a large saucepan, saute onions, garlic, shallot, scallions, and green pepper in oil. Add water, beans, and seasonings. Simmer for 1.5 hours. Add tomatoes and tomato sauce. Simmer for 1 hour more or until fork-tender. For spicier chili, use 2 or more cloves of garlic. Serve piping hot. Serves -10ÂșC rom DEEANNE's recipe files
