The Pastor's Wassail

Ingredients

200 gr sugar
4 cinnamon sticks
3 slices lemon
475 ml pineapple juice
475 ml orange juice
1,400 ml claret wine
120 ml lemon juice
240 ml dry sherry

Instructions

Boil first three ingredients with half cup of water for 5 minutes. Remove lemon slices, any seeds, and cinnamon sticks. Heat the remaining ingredients until very warm. Do not boil! Combine with the syrup and serve very warm.
