Three-cheese Grits

Ingredients

475 ml water
1/2 enriched hominy quick grits
1 gr salt
30 gr swiss cheese
28 gr cheddar cheese
20 gr parmesan cheese
28 gr margarine
1 egg
1 garlic clove
2 ml worcestershire sauce
950 gr casserole

Instructions

margarine; stir until melted. Stir in remaining ingredients. Pour into casserole. Bake 30 to 35 minutes or until knife inserted in center comes out clean. *NOTE: To substitute regular Quaker or Aunt Jemima Enriched Hominy Grits, increase water to 2- half cups and simmer time to dozen to 14 minutes or until thickened, stirring occasionally. Proceed as recipe directs. MICROWAVE DIRECTIONS: In 1 litre microwaveable casserole, microwave water at HIGH 4 to 6 minutes or until boiling. Stir in regular or quick grits and salt. Microwave at HIGH 3 to 4 minutes or until thickened, stirring once. Add cheeses and margarine; stir until melted. Stir in remaining ingredients. Microwave at HIGH 8 to 10 minutes or until knife inserted in center comes out clean, rotating casserole every 3 minutes.
