Vegetarian Chili With Rice

Ingredients

475 gr kidney beans
475 gr great northern beans
230 ml tomato sauce
100 gr green pepper
60 gr onion
8 gr chili powder
4 gr sugar
1 gr basil
270 gr tomatoes
2 garlic
240 gr rice

Instructions

* drained Place all ingredients except cooked rice in a large saucepan. Add 1 cup water. Tomatoes should be undrained. Bring to boiling, reduce heat. Simmer. covered, for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally. I like to add a shot of Tabasco sauce at this point. Top each serving of chili with half cup hot cooked rice.
