Wanchese Crab Cakes

Ingredients

260 gr crabmeat flaked
80 gr cracker crumbs
1 egg
16 gr onion
30 ml mayonnaise
16 ml worcestershire sauce
16 ml mustard-prepared
4 ml pepper sauce
3 gr salt
1 gr black pepper
1 cracker crumbs for dredging peanut oil for frying cakes

Instructions

In a medium bowl, mix together with fork the first 10 ingredients. Form mixture into 8 cm patties; roll in cracker crumbs. In a skillet or deep fat fryer, heat oil to 190ÂșC ; fry patties until golden brown, about 2 minutes on each side. Drain on paper towels and serve immediately with sauce of choice. Makes 3 servings.
