Whoopee Pies # 2

Ingredients

190 gr shortening
200 gr sugar
2 egg yolks
240 ml milk
8 gr vanilla
250 gr flour
5 gr baking powder
5 gr baking soda
1 gr salt
28 gr cocoa
2 egg whites
1 package confectioners sugar
1 gr salt

Instructions

Recipe by: Carolyn Sullivan Cream shortening and sugar; add egg yolks. Sift dry ingredients and add to creamed mixture with milk and vanilla. Drop on greased cookie sheets by small spoonful. Bake at 180ÂșC or 10 minutes. When cool, put 2 cookies together with the filling. Beat all filling ingredients until smooth. If necessary add a little water for right consistency. ----
