Angel Food Cake I

Ingredients

1 cup cake flour
2 3/4 cup sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup egg
1 1/4 teaspoon cream of tartar
2 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 teaspoon almond extract
3/4 cup water
3 egg

Instructions

Boiled icing: Mix sugar, cream of tartar and water and cook over low heat until syrup spins a thread (240 F). Meanwhile, add salt to egg whites and beat with a flat beater until stiff. Pour syrup in a thin stream over the egg whites; add flavorings. B
