Apple, Prune And Armagnac Cake With Streusel Topping~

12 ready to use prunes
5 ounces caster sugar
5 fluid ounces fluid water
3 fluid port
1 streusel topping
6 ounces self rising flour
1 ounce butter at room temperature
3 ounces demerara sugar
2 ounces almonds
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
2 ounces butter soft
1 ounce almonds
1 egg size
2 tablespoons milk
2 ounces bramley apple
8 tin with a loose base
1 with greaseproof paper
180 although the ready to use prunes are supposed to need soaking
1 cake mixture is simple indeed all you do is sift the flour
