Babe's Apple Cakes

Ingredients

2 c wheat flour
14 c wheat germ
2 ts baking soda
1 ts cinnamon
1 ts salt
1/2 ts nutmeg
4 tart cooking apples
1 c sugar
1 c brown sugar
1/2 c vegetable oil
1 c walnuts
2 eggs
1 ts vanilla
9 in baking
350 oven

Instructions

PULLS AWAY FROM SIDES OF PAN. COOL IN PAN ON RACK. IF DESIRED, SPRINKLE WITH SIFTED CONFECTIONERS' SUGAR. CUT IN 12 BARS. ----
