Baked Vegetable Gumbo Creole From Tony Burke
Ingredients
some black pepper to
some salt and pepper
1 okra
2 packages okra
1 slice rib celery
2 slices bell peppers
2 packages lima beans
8 ears corn kernels
2 packages corn
1 onion
4 slices ripe tomatoes
2 slices serrano chiles
1 ts basil
1/2 monterey jack
300 over
Instructions
NOTE: This can be baked in the morning and reheated slowly before serving. It tastes even better the second day.
