Beef Brisket And Sauerkraut

Ingredients

4 pounds brisket
1 tablespoon salt
1 sauerkraut
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1 cup vinegar mild
3 tablespoons brown sugar
1 potato
1 caraway seed

Instructions

Cover brisket with water; season. Simmer for 1 hour to 1 1/2 hours. Add sauerk raut, vinegar and brown sugar. Cook 1 hour longer. Add potato and caraway see d. Cook 10 minutes longer. Yeild 6 to 8 servings.
