Bread Pudding With A French Flair

Ingredients

4 1/2 c milk
1 c cream
1 1/2 ts vanilla
6 egg yolks
1 1/2 c sugar
4 slices bread
1 package pitted sweet dark cherries
5 eggs
1/2 tsp vanilla to boiling
4 egg yolks until
1/2 cup sugar
8 slices baking dish
2 at a time
1 level around dish

Instructions

rack to cool. To serve, spoon sauce over individual servings Makes 8 servings. Note: You might try sprinkling cinnamon-sugar mixture over the pudding before baking. It's great.
